What a nice web site and wonderful collection of friendly people! A great recommendation of any person is that she is an appreciative reader and collector of Elizabeth Cadell's books.

I first read "The Corner Shop" by Elizabeth Cadell back in the 70's - and have continued reading her books since! I've yet to read one I didn't like - something I can't say about any other author whose books I've accumulated!!! I am SO glad to know she has a fan club - I hope it keeps on growing!!!

I am young, and I discovered EC's books quite by accident. I picked up The Waiting Game because I thought the title was good. I was running out of authors and in the mood for something new. How I have been rewarded! The only negative point about being an EC fan is that my library seems to be reducing her books, and they aren't selling them to me!

Where does one begin to expound on the reason that they like Elizabeth Cadell's writings. Everyone is well worth reading..I started reading her in my early teens and I am still reading her over & over, today(I'm 48).

I have been reading and enjoying Elizabeth Cadell's books for over 30 years. It's so wonderful to pick up an old friend and know you won't be disappointed. The stories and fun and interesting without being stressful, offensive, or scary. A rarity today, to be sure. Ebay has been a marvelous way to expand my collection.
